Over the past day, more than 470 passengers were brought to Ukraine in three evacuation flights and were checked in at the Boryspil airport, the Media Communications Department of the State Border Service of Ukraine reported on May 7.

“Most of our compatriots arrived in Ukraine by air from Toronto (Canada), Oslo (Norway) and Goa (India),” reads the statement.

The border guards of the Kyiv separate checkpoint carried out temperature screening of the arrived passengers and questioned them about their health status.

“Among the arrivals there were no persons with fever or complaints of symptoms of acute respiratory viral infections. All but one person, arriving on the indicated flights, chose the quarantine provided using Diy Vdoma application. After checking the registration service by the State Border Guard Service, these persons went to two-week self-isolation at the indicated addresses. One passenger from Goa decided to go to quarantine at a certain observation point,” the State Border Service said.

The service noted that passenger traffic at the state border remained at a rather low level: over the past day, employees of the State Border Service registered less than 13,000 people for entry and exit.
