Mayor of Boryspil, Kyiv region, Anatoliy Fedorchuk, has died from the coronavirus disease COVID-19.
“Anatoliy Fedorchuk died of COVID,” the press service of the Nash Krai party, on behalf of which Fedorchuk ran for the mayor of Boryspil last Sunday, told Interfax-Ukraine.
At the same time, the interlocutor of the agency noted that according to the results of the counting of votes, Fedorchuk won the elections for mayor of Boryspil.
Fedorchuk was 60 years old. He has worked in the position of Boryspil mayor since 2006.
