You're reading: Budget Committee recommends Rada to adopt at first reading draft state budget-2022

The Parliamentary Budget Committee has recommended the Verkhovna Rada to adopt the draft state budget for 2022 at the first reading, Head of the committee Yuriy Aristov has said.

As he told Interfax-Ukraine, the committee made the decision at a meeting on October 19, it was supported by 25 out of 26 MPs present, one did not vote.

According to Aristov, the committee also considered government bill No. 6062 with amendments to the Budget Code and recommended that it be included in the agenda and passed at the first reading.

The committee also supported bill No. 5853 (one of the technical bills on banking reform) amending Article 33 of the Budget Code of Ukraine regarding clarification of the information submitted by the National Bank for drawing up the Budget Declaration.

Earlier it was reported that the Verkhovna Rada plans to consider the draft state budget for 2022 at the first reading on October 20.
