The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allowed postal operators to deliver medicines, according to a statement on the website of the Ministry of Infrastructure, with reference to Minister Vladyslav Krykliy.

According to him, the government made this important decision at a meeting on Monday, March 23, to improve the availability and convenience of obtaining medicines while reducing population mobility and reducing crowds in pharmacies.

The minister noted that this way the government regulates the issue of providing the population, in particular the elderly people, with medicines and related products through their remote sale directly to consumers amid quarantine.

“It should be noted that permission to deliver medicines does not apply to narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, potent and poisonous drugs, the storage of which is prohibited in Ukraine,” the ministry said in a statement.
