The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Pavlo Riabikin, the director general of Boryspil International Airport (Kyiv), head of the State Customs Service.

One of the participants in the government meeting told Interfax-Ukraine that the decision was made without discussion on Oct. 28.

Earlier, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko announced the appointment of a new head of the customs in the coming days following the results of the competition.

“A tender for the post of head has been announced – with full functionality. Transparent and efficient. In the coming days, you will hear about the appropriate personnel appointment,” Marchenko said.
