You're reading: Cabinet decides to inject Hr 800 million in renovation of three airports

Ukraine’s Cabinet has approved the allocation of Hr 800 million in the renovation of three Ukrainian airports.

The government passed a resolution on Sept. 6 on amendments to decrees of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 126 of February 24, 2016 and No. 714 of September 22, 2016, these funds are defined by the State Target Program for the Development of Airports for the period until 2023 and redistributed to its limits.

The document provides that Hr 500 million should be allocated for the design, reconstruction and construction of the airport complex of the Odesa airport in the current year under the program; Hr 100 million for the reconstruction of the airfield of Chernivtsi airport; and Hr 200 million of the airfield of Vinnytsia airport. Odesa airport next year, according to the program, should get another Hr 1.17 billion for the renovation.
