The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Dec.27 instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to create a state register of investment projects.
The register will become a single information system to register investment projects, according to a Cabinet resolution posted on the government’s official website.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will create and keep the state register, the document said. It will add information about projects to the register and post extracts from the register on its official website.
Agencies that conduct investment competitions are obliged to provide the ministry with information about investment projects within five working days. Investment projects funded by the Regional Development Fund are not subject to registration.
According to the document, an extract shall contain such information as the title, purpose, cost and timing of a project, as well as mention an agency that conducts the competition, the form and amount of state support.
