Canada resumes collective training with Ukrainian servicemen within UNIFIER Operation

Instructors of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) will return to Ukraine to train Ukrainian servicemen within the UNIFIER Operation. Earlier, they had to suspend their mission due to the restrictions introduced to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

“CAF soldiers will be arriving in Ukraine mid-June to resume training in support of the Security Forces of Ukraine. Members will isolate for a period of 14 days before joining the mission to protect the force in the COVID-19 environment,” the CAF in Ukraine said on its Twitter page.
