You're reading: Censor.net: Parliament backs ‘Glory to Ukraine’ greeting in first reading
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted in the first reading the bill “On ammendments to the Charters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” (No. 9036) providing for replacement of the current military greeting.
As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, the relevant decision was backed by 283 MPs. 263 lawmakers also voted for reduction of the period for drafting the bill ahead of the second reading to 10 days.
