The members of the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine who met in Minsk on August 23 agreed the conditions of a new ceasefire before the start of a new academic year, a source from the group organizing the negotiations told Interfax.
“An agreement has been reached on a full ceasefire starting August 25, in the context of the start of an academic year, so that children could safely go to school,” he said.
The ceasefire will be open-ended, he said.
