Pechersky District Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention with an alternative of paying Hr 475 million bail for former Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ihor Pavlovsky in the case of a supply of low-quality military equipment.

“On July 12, Pechersky Court considered an investigators’ petition and granted it in full, having chosen the former Deputy Defense Minister a measure of restraint in the form of detention for two months with an alternative of paying a bail in the amount of more than Hr 475 million,” the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) told Interfax-Ukraine.

The Bureau said that in this way Pechersky Court has chosen a preventive measure for four suspects in the case of a sale of low-quality military equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As reported, the SBI notified officials of the Kyznya on Rybalsky Plant and the Ministry of Defense about the suspicion of a supply of low-quality military equipment.
