The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) at a hearing on June 2 arrested in absentia former head of PrivatBank’s board Oleksandr Dubilet, who is currently on the wanted list.

“Investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court Serhiy Moisak applied a measure of restraint in the form of detention for the former head of PrivatBank’s board Oleksandr Dubilet. Since Dubilet is not in Ukraine and is put on the international wanted list, he was applied a measure of restraint in absentia until his actual arrest and delivery to the place of criminal proceedings,” the press service of the Anti-Corruption Action Centre said in the Telegram channel.

It is noted that the decision of the investigating judge means the suspicion presented to Dubilet is fully justified. The message about him happened in accordance with the norms of criminal procedural legislation.
