Kyiv District Administrative Court ruled to open administrative proceedings on the claim of fifth president of Ukraine (2014-2019), leader of the European Solidarity party Petro Poroshenko against the public organization “Volume 14”, where the plaintiff demands to make public the so-called “Medvedchuk’s films” in their original form.

As reported on the website of the European Solidarity on Sept. 29, this was announced by Poroshenko’s lawyer Ihor Holovan. The site also contains scans of the relevant court order.

“Bihus.info is a defendant in the administrative proceeding. After months of ‘dancing with a tambourine,’ the Ukrainian ‘administrative Themis’ was forced to open administrative proceedings in our claim against bihus.info (real name is the public organization “Volume 14”), where we demand the publication of the so-called “Medvedchuk tapes” in their original form,” Holovan wrote on Facebook.

He said that none of the videos published by the defendant “can be considered such a public disclosure, since it is an edited video file, and the real view of the files transferred to bihus.info by the authorities’ customers is highlighted on the same video. These are audio files, the names of which contain phone numbers. We require disclosure of these files, exactly in this form,” the lawyer said.

Holovan also said that at the stage of opening the proceedings, the court tried to protect bihus.info.
