The Sixth Administrative Court of Appeals has postponed the hearing of PrivatBank’s appeal against the decision of the Kyiv District Administrative Court dated April 18, 2019 in a lawsuit filed by businessman Ihor Kolomoisky on the illegality of the bank’s nationalization until Dec. 15.

According to the press service of PrivatBank on Nov. 26, the reasons for the postponement of the hearings are still unknown.

As reported, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv on April 18, 2019, under the suit of Kolomoisky, overturned the NBU’s decisions on the withdrawal of the insolvent PrivatBank from the market with the participation of the state and determining the list of persons associated with the bank.

On May 27, 2019, PrivatBank filed a counterclaim against the court’s verdict on canceling the decision to withdraw the insolvent PrivatBank from the market with the participation of the state, and on May 24 the counterclaim against the court’s verdict on canceling the decision of the NBU commission on determining the list of persons associated with the bank.

The Cabinet of Ministers appealed these two court verdicts on May 16.
