The hearing of Brovary City District Court in Kyiv region on the case against MP of Ukraine of the eighth convocation Nadiia Savchenko and former head of the Officer Corps center for releasing prisoners Volodymyr Ruban has been postponed for two months.

“I understood that, in principle, there could be no consideration of the issue on my part, I did not know whether there would be the defenders of Volodymyr Ruban. They weren’t there either, so they postponed the hearing,” Savchenko said after the trial broadcasted by 112.ua.

“As for our judicial [meetings], they will continue as usual, each time there will be judicial hearings, a preliminary session will begin, which is now beginning, let’s see what will be considered at it, what will not be considered, what will be the results,” she added.

Savchenko also noted that the postponement of the meeting for two months was caused by the workload of the judges.
