Ukraine has registered 5,728 new COVID-19 cases as of 9 a.m. on Oct. 10, bringing the national total to 256,266. The figure is less than the 5,804 new cases registered on Oct. 9.
In the past 24 hours, 108 people have died – a record number – and 1,920 have recovered. A total of 112,570 patients have recovered and 4,887 have died since the beginning of the pandemic.

In the past 24 hours, the largest numbers of new cases have been recorded in Kyiv (532), Kharkiv Oblast (510), Khmelnytsky Oblast (402), Odesa Oblast (338), and Ternopil Oblast (306).
