Ukraine has recorded 810 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as of 9 a.m. on July 9. At the moment, there are 26,113 active cases in the country and 3,931 people are receiving treatment in hospitals, including 85 patients on lung ventilators.
In the past 24 hours, 21 patients have died, 222 have been hospitalized and 665 have recovered, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said at his morning briefing on July 9.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine now stands at 51,224, while a total of 23,784 patients have recovered and 1,327 have died of the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.
Among all cases registered in Ukraine, 3,682 (or 7.1%) are children, and 7,178 (13.9%) are medical workers.

The largest numbers of new cases were registered in Lviv Oblast (119), the city of Kyiv (93), Zakarpattia Oblast (89) and Rivne Oblast (76).
Chernivtsi Oblast still leads the tally with the most active cases per 100,000 people (267.2), followed by Lviv Oblast (219.7) and Zakarpattia Oblast (189.8), according to the Center for Public Health.
Donetsk and Ternopil oblasts have shown the most significant growth in infection rates over the past seven days compared to other regions, 27% and 66% respectively. Donetsk Oblast also has one of the lowest levels of testing in the country.
In the past 24 hours, Ukrainian laboratories carried out 13,938 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests and 15,323 antibody tests (ELISA).
