Ukraine has identified a single-day record of 1,197 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as of 9 a.m. on July 30. There are currently 28,967 active cases across the country.

The largest numbers of new cases were registered in Kyiv (199), Lviv Oblast (131), Rivne Oblast (105) and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (104).

The total number of infections identified in Ukraine since the start of the pandemic stands at 68,794. A total of 38,154 people have recovered and 1,673 have died of the disease.

Of all cases registered in Ukraine in the past 24 hours, 72 are children and 67 are medical workers.

In the past 24 hours, Ukraine has recorded 23 deaths from COVID-19, 247 patients have been hospitalized and 760 have recovered.

In total, 15,494 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests were administered across the country during the past 24 hours. In addition, Ukrainian laboratories carried out 16,205 antibody tests (ELISA), Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said at his morning briefing on July 30.
