- It’s going to become easier for Russian dissident to receive Ukrainian citizenship, as Ukrainian President Zelensky has signed a decree to simplify the process for Russian citizens who have been persecuted for their political views.
- Everyone involved in illegal amber mining will be punished. At least that’s what Zelensky promised when he visited Zhytomyr Oblast, a region extremely rich in amber deposits.
- The National Bank fires back at oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky. It has filed a counterclaim after Kolomoisky had asked the court to invalidate his guarantee on a refinancing loan in the amount of Hr 4.2 billion.
War in the Donbas
- Russian-backed forces continue to shoot at Ukrainians. They have mounted three attacks on Ukrainian army positions in the Donbas over the course of the day.

- Ukraine lowers oil transit to Europe. Oil transit through Ukrainian pipelines to European countries decreased by 13 percent compared to the same period last year.
- Meanwhile, Russians have paid Ukraine $3.2 million for contaminated oil that they let in the Ukrainian pipeline network.
