Russia’s aggression
- Russia will offer its citizenship to residents of the occupied Donbas. Incumbent President Petro Poroshenko and President-elect Volodymyr Zelenskiy have reacted.
Presidential election results
- President-elect Zelenskiy’s administration has many options for key nominations. As a president in Ukraine, he can appoint the defense minister, the chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, the SBU chief, and the Prosecutor General, as well as the foreign affairs minister, and the head of the Presidential Administration.
- The town of Sloviansk, where the Donbas war started 5 years ago, sees a peaceful election.
