Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 449/2020 on some measures to accelerate reforms in the sphere of land relations was published on the website of the head of state on Oct. 15.
According to the document, it was adopted with the aim to ensure further implementation of reforms in the field of land relations, creating conditions for the realization of the rights of citizens of Ukraine and territorial communities in this area.
Thus, the document decrees the Cabinet of Ministers to intensify the transfer of state-owned agricultural land plots to communal ownership, to work out the issue of stimulating the registration of ownership by territorial communities of agricultural land plots transferred from state ownership.
The Cabinet of Ministers was also instructed to take measures, in accordance with the established procedure, to resolve the issue of ensuring the entry of the guaranteed right of citizens to land when transferring state property to communal ownership of agricultural land plots, in respect of which citizens have been granted permits to develop land management documentation.
In addition, the government should provide support for bills on financial support for farms, improve the management and deregulation system in the field of land relations, establish a transparent process for conducting electronic land auctions, and take measures to accelerate the creation, functioning and development of the national infrastructure of geospatial data of Ukraine.
