Representatives of 18 foreign countries will take part in the Independence Day military parade on Aug. 24, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak said.
“The other day we expect the arrival of 18 foreign delegations from around the world who will participate in the parade,” the Ukrainian defense minister wrote on his Facebook page on Aug.18, commenting on the rehearsal of the parade in Kyiv.
As reported, 4,500 servicemen and 250 pieces of military equipment will take part in the parade, including new weapons and military equipment that have already been adopted and those that are being tested by the state.
