You're reading: Emergency Response Commission establishes new levels of epidemic danger in Ukraine

The State Commission on Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response of Ukraine has established new levels of epidemic danger of coronavirus (COVID-19) spread on the territory of Ukraine, Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleh Nemchinov has said.

“The next meeting of the State Commission on Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response has just ended. New levels of the epidemic danger of the spread of COVID-19 disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2Z coronavirus have been established,” Nemchinov wrote on his Facebook page.

The “red” zone” includes the cities of Lutsk and Ternopil, as well as Kitsmansky district of Chernivtsi region.

The “orange” zone includes the cities of Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Berezhany, Ternopil region, Lutsk and Liubashevsky districts of Volyn region, Tysmenytsky district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, Mykolaiv, Peremyshlsky and Pustomytivsky districts of Lviv region and Buchatsky district of Ternopil region.

The “yellow” zone includes the cities of Vinnytsia and Mohyliv-Podilsky, Vinnytsia, Kalynivsky, Kryzhopilsky, Nemyrivsky and Tulchynsky districts of Vinnytsia region, the city of Novovolynsk, Horokhivsky, Kivertsivsky, Lokachynsky, Manevytsky and Turiysky districts of Volyn region, the cities of Zhytomyr, Berdychiv, Malyn and Novohrad-Volynsky, Liubarsky, Pulynsky, Romanivsky and Cherniakhivsky districts of Zhytomyr region, the cities of Berehove, Mukachevo, Uzhgorod, Khust, Chop, as well as Berehivsky, Velykoberezniansky, Vynohradivsky, Volovetsky, Irshavsky, Mizhhirsky, Mukachivsky, Perechynsky, Rakhivsky, Svaliavsky, Tiachivsky, Uzhgorodsky and Khustsky districts of Zakarpattia region.

In addition, “yellow” zone includes the city of Yaremche, Bohorodchansky, Horodenkivsky, Kosivsky and Nadvirniansky districts of Ivano-Frankivsk region, Zholkivsky, Yavorivsky and Kamianka-Buzky districts of Lviv region, Berezhansky, Husiatynsky, Kozivsky, Lanovetsky and Chortkivsky districts of Ternopil region, Hlybotsky, Putylsky, Sokyriansky, Storozhynetsky and Khotynsky districts of Chernivtsi region.

According to the minister, this decision will enter the force on August 3.

“The State Commission on Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response will meet weekly, on Fridays, and update the data, which will be in effect from Monday next week,” Nemchinov said.
