In the Stanychno-Luhansky district of Luhansk region, the last of the 10 main fires continues to be extinguished, the State Emergency Service has discharged more than 1,900 tonnes of water since the beginning of fire extinguishing, the press cneter of the service reported.
“As of 7:00 on October 7, out of 10 main fires in forests, reeds and dry vegetation, nine fires have been eliminated,” the press service of the agency said on its website on Oct. 7 morning.
