Estonia calls on Russia to stop the persecution, release all political prisoners, abide by international law and leave the Crimean peninsula, the country’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

“Crimea is Ukraine. 7 years have passed since the annexation. Our non-recognition policy remains unwavering. In solidarity with Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians, we urge Russia to stop the persecution, free all political prisoners, comply with international law, withdraw from the peninsula,” The Foreign Ministry of Estonia said on Twitter on Feb. 26.
