Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker have agreed on holding an EU-Ukraine summit in Kyiv on July 8.

“The sides have expressed their interest in holding the 21st EU-Ukraine summit in Kyiv on July 8 of this year,” the Ukrainian presidential press service said in a statement on June 4.

Zelenskiy reaffirmed the unwavering priorities of the Ukrainian Constitution, first and foremost the strategic course towards full membership in the EU and NATO, and Ukraine’s commitment to its obligations, including those in relations with international financial institutions, the statement said.

For his part, Juncker assured Zelenskiy of the EU’s full support for European integration of Ukraine and further democratic and market reforms.
