Justice has not been served in the six years since snipers killed nearly 100 demonstrators and police officers at the climax of the EuroMaidan Revolution. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych fled to Russia on Feb. 22, 2014, where he lives in exile today, escaping murder charges and also accusations that he and his cronies stole $40 billion from the nation during his rule from 2010 to 2014. After a series of setbacks, including the release of five police suspects to Russia in December, hopes grow dimmer by the year that those responsible for the murders and other crimes will be held to account.
