The European Solidarity announces the victory of their candidate Volodymyr Borysenko in the elections for the mayor of Boryspil, the party’s press service reports.
“Congratulations on the convincing victory of the candidate from European Solidarity, Volodymyr Borysenko, in the election of the mayor in Boryspil … When the ‘servants’ unite with the Opposition Platform – For Life, fighting against the representative of the European Solidarity, the result is expected. Volodymyr Borysenko is ahead of the pro-government candidate by more than one and a half thousand votes,” the press service of the party quoted the leader of the European Solidarity party, the fifth president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko as saying.
The European Solidarity noted that according to preliminary data, Borysenko received 28% of the votes and is ahead of his closest competitors by 8% (more than 1,500 votes).
