The number of protesters near the Verkhovna Rada is increasing toward the evening, but there is still a free place on the site near the tents. The evening session of the parliament is being broadcast opposite the parliament on the Constitution Square.
There are scores of people near the Kyiv hotel. Noise effects are being created from both sides – protesters are knocking on barrels with sticks. Women with empty plastic bottles joined them, which also create a noise effect, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reported.
This group of activists is divided by several ranks of the National Guard servicemen. Guardsmen and police are also standing along the fence in the Mariyinsky Park.
