Ukraine’s Naftogaz and Russia’s Gazprom both on Dec. 22 claimed victory as a Stockholm arbitration tribunal issued the final award ruling in the first of two cases in a three-year legal battle between the state-controlled energy companies, where total claims stand at some $80 billion.
