There is no need to undergo PCR testing for COVID-19 for flights within the country, Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said during a press briefing in Kyiv on July 24.
“Flights within the country do not require PCR testing. There is a clearly defined mechanism for whom PCR testing is carried out: these are all people with signs of coronavirus disease, contact persons, health workers every 14 days, employees of the National Police and National Guard,” he said.
Also, the minister said that people on self-isolation can use the help of regional social protection units to buy food.
“This is the responsibility of Kyiv city and regional state administrations. They have social protection units that are obliged to accompany and provide social assistance to people in self-isolation. They must provide assistance with the purchase of food and other things,” said Stepanov.
