The testing was completed as part of the first stage of certification of prosecutors of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine.
According to the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, 95 out of 1,083 test participants did not appear, and 795 candidates scored more than 70 points and passed on the second stage of certification. It is noted that the highest marks for testing, from 91 to 100 points, received 12 percent of participants – 93 people.
Certification is carried out as part of the implementation of the law “On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding Priority Measures for the Reform of the Prosecutor’s Office.” In total, several stages are planned, which include a test of general abilities, ethics and professional competence. The second stage will take the form of an interview and a situational task.
As reported, 218 prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office, who refused to pass the certification, will be fired.
