People’s deputy of Ukraine (People’s Front faction) Anton Gerashchenko predicts that Nadiia Savchenko can be sentenced for a term from five to ten years of imprisonment for the crimes she had been planning.
“The charges are quite serious, but due to the fact that this terrorist act was prevented and no one was killed, the judges can condemn her for a period of several years, for example, five or ten. It is unlikely that this will be life imprisonment because they were unable to realize their plans,” he said on the air of 112. Ukraine TV channel on March 22.
Gerashchenko said that Savchenko and Ruban “are out of their mind” and are dangerous for the country, that’s why they should be imprisoned. In his opinion, it is also necessary to conduct a “serious psychiatric examination” of Savchenko and head of the prisoner release center Officer Corps Volodymyr Ruban.
