You're reading: Government allocates over Hr 4 million to buy housing for IDPs

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated over Hr 4 million in subventions from the national budget to purchase housing for internally displaced persons (IDPs).

The relevant decision was made at the Oct. 9 government meeting.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at its meeting on Oct. 9, allocated subventions from the state budget for more than Hr 4 million for the purchase of housing for internally displaced persons. Another Hr 1.7 million will be allocated for this by local budgets,” the press service of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine said.

It is noted that for these funds it is planned to purchase 23 apartments and eight houses for temporary residence of 90 IDPs.
