You're reading: Govt expands list of medicines for intl procurement using 2017 budget funds

The list of medicines procured by international organizations using 2017 budget funds has been expanded with five new programs.

Government resolution No. 975 was posted on the government’s website.

The list was expanded with programs to procure medicines to treat viral hepatitis type B and C, adult patients with fibrocystic disease of pancreas, tuberculosis, to procure tests and expendable materials for testing TB, as well as medical products for patients with autopathic familial dystonia.

Thus, specialized international organizations will procure medical products and medicines under 39 programs.

As reported, on July 27, 2017, Ukraine’s Health Ministry has signed contracts to procure medicines and medical products using the 2017 national budget funds with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), UNICEF and Britain’s Crown Agents. The contracts for Hr 5.9 billion were signed.
