Gas prices will fluctuate in Ukraine depending on inflation, but there will be no sharp leaps, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said.

“The prices [for gas] will remain within natural price fluctuations in accordance with inflationary processes, including, therefore, there will not be any drastic changes in prices. As for prices for housing and utility services, they are formed locally or by an independent commission for regulation of the market of utility services (National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission),” he said in an interview with Channel 5 aired on July 24 evening.

At the same time, the premier added that Ukraine was accumulating gas reserves “in order to enter the new heating season smoothly.”
