The High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine (HACC) has started a hearing to apply a measure of restraint for former judge Mykola Chaus, the State Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is asking the court for a closed hearing, HACC told Interfax-Ukraine.

“The hearing has started. At present, the SBU is requesting a closed hearing,” the court said.

The HACC said the hearing was somewhat delayed, since Chaus communicated with his attorneys.

Later, the HACC said the petition was granted and the hearing was being held behind closed doors.
