On Dec. 29, the five ex-Berkut officers accused in the mass shootings at the Instytutska Street in February 2014 – Oleh Yanishevskyi, Serhiy Zinchenko, Pavlo Abroskin, Oleksandr Marynchenko and Serhiy Tamtura – were handed over to the self-proclaimed “DPR” and “LPR” as part of the prisoner exchange between the government of Ukraine and the “republics”.
