Oleksiy Donskyi has been the main prosecutor on the EuroMaidan cases for six years. He is responsible for investigating the murders on Instytutska Street on Feb. 20, 2014, during the EuroMaidan Revolution. At the time, 48 protesters were murdered, and another 80 wounded. Late last year, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General, Rouslan Riaboshapka, removed Donskyi from the case for an entire month, in order to successfully exchange five ex-riot police agents, accused of taking part in the murders, to Russia.
