Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan does not exclude the possibility of running for parliament but has not yet decided to join one of the political forces.

“At the moment, I understand that I will go into politics, what format it will be – parliamentary or extra-parliamentary – I have not decided for myself yet,” Omelyan said on the sidelines of the Ukrcemfor 2019 international conference in Kyiv on May 28.

At the same time, the minister noted that he was not negotiating with any political party.

“I don’t rule out this [plans to run for parliament] but I want to understand with whom, for what and how. It should be transparent and fair elections, not only for me but also for the public. If I see that this is in line with my personal principles, then I will be ready to join the political force,” the minister added.
