The property commission of the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine has approved leasing of property on the balance sheet of state-owned enterprise (SOE) Boryspil International Airport, the ministry has reported on its website.

The Commission, in particular, has approved the conclusion of five-year lease agreements for real estate for the placement of passenger pre-service points, catering establishments, and duty-free shops, and also two-year agreements for placing vending machines and points for servicing passengers (baggage-wrapping points). In addition, the commission approved leasing places for ATMs, offices and locker rooms for the period of two years and 11 months.

The commission determined the following conditions for concluding the above-mentioned lease agreements: payment of a guarantee deposit in the amount of six starting rents by the potential tenant; payment within 10 working days from the date of conclusion of the lease agreement for at least 24 months; coordination the design, signage and other information materials that are placed on the outside of the leased property with the balance holder.

The commission also backed the idea of allocating lots to individually defined objects, indicating the intended use and area.

The ministry also suggested that potential tenants follow the announcements of the lessor – the Regional Branch of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) in Kyiv, Cherkasy and Chernihiv regions in the Vidomosti Pryvatyzatsii newspaper and on the website of the SPF.
