Israel has banned citizens of a number of countries from entering the country due to the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, and also canceled previously issued entry permits, the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel said.

“According to the decision of the competent authorities of the State of Israel, from May 4, 2021, the entry of foreigners from the territory of Ukraine (including citizens of Ukraine), Ethiopia, South Africa, India, Mexico and Turkey into the country is prohibited,” the Ukrainian Embassy in Israel said in a statement on Facebook.

It is also noted that the Israeli side canceled the special permits issued to enter the country before May 01, 2021.

“In order to obtain a new permit, the applicant must reapply to the competent authorities of the State of Israel,” the embassy said.
