You're reading: Kharkiv subway to resume operation on May 25

On May 25, Kharkiv subway will again start carrying the passengers, Kharkiv City Mayor Gennady Kernes said.

“In a view of the weakening of quarantine and based on the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Kharkiv metro begins its work at 05:30 in the morning on May 25,” Kernes wrote in his telegram channel.

He recalled that quarantine was not revoked, but only weakened, thus in the subway, as in other public transport, it is necessary to adhere to a number of sanitary standards.

As reported, the Kharkiv subway suspended its work late on March 17 in relation to the measures meant for non-admission of COVID-19 spreading.
