Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has met with Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, in Milan.

“In Milan, we are beginning our activities on the occasion of the ministerial meeting of the OSCE. We have started with a friendly talk with Federica Mogherini. I have received an invitation to attend a meeting of foreign ministers of the EU member states next Monday. We will discuss how to jointly prevent Russia’s attempts to destabilize Ukraine and Europe,” Klimkin wrote in a tweet on Twitter on December 6.

As earlier reported, the situation in Ukraine is one of the key issues on the agenda of the December 10 meeting of the European Union’s Foreign Affairs Council.

“Foreign ministers are expected to discuss the latest developments in Ukraine, including in preparation for their informal lunch with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin on the same day,” a statement on the website of the Council of the EU reads.
