You're reading: Klimkin sees no direct threats to visa-free regime

There are no direct threats to the Ukraine-EU visa-free travel regime at the moment, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin said in a program aired by the channel 1+1 on Dec. 22 morning.

“There are no direct threats today. No one is going to take ‘visa-free travel’ away from Ukrainians but we should keep our promises,” Klimkin said.

The establishment of anti-corruption agencies was a condition of visa-free travel for Ukraine and if any questions are raised concerning the fulfillment of this obligation, they, rather than the visa-free travel system, will be the subject of a political dialogue between Ukraine and the EU, he said.
