Another sharp spike in the number of new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases to 91 was registered in Kyiv in the past 24 hours, four people died from the disease, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.
“The news are disappointing today. The number of residents of the capital diagnosed with the coronavirus disease increased by 91 people. Four patients died,” the mayor said in his Telegram channel.
As of today, 3,671 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyiv.
The new cases include 55 women aged from 18 to 83, 28 men aged from 18 to 85, four girls aged from 4 to 13 and four boys aged from 3 to 7.
Another five medical workers were diagnosed with COVID-19.
Ten people were hospitalized, and the rest stay in self-isolation under the observation of their doctors.
A total of 68 people have recovered from the disease in Kyiv in the past 24 hours. Thus, the total number of recoveries in Kyiv is 1,053.
The majority of new cases were registered in Shevchenkivsky district – 24, Solomiansky and Sviatoshynsky districts – 12 in each, Dniprovsky district – 10.
