Kyiv doctors who are working with coronavirus (COVID-19) patients in March will receive salaries in amount of Hr 30,000 to 50,000, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has said.

“I would like to inform you that the doctors in the capital who are working with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases received bonuses to their salaries from March 13. The city determined extra payments in amount of nine official salaries for them. Kyiv allocated around Hr 10.8 million from the city budget for this. Thus, doctors will receive Hr 30,000 to 50,000, nurses – Hr 25,000-30,000 and nursing staff – Hr 20,000-25,000,” Klitschko said during an online press conference on April 21.
