Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has held a telephone conversation with German Federal Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, the parties discussed the further development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Germany.
“Kuleba is convinced that Germany will remain a reliable partner of Ukraine in matters of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of our state, development of economic cooperation,” the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.
Kuleba also expressed gratitude to Maas for his efforts to organize a meeting of the Normandy format at the ministerial level.
“The minister thanked his German colleague for his remarks on the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the mass shootings in Babyn Yar and his call to preserve the memory of this terrible Nazi crime,” the message says.
In addition, Kuleba also congratulated Maas on his successful election result.
