Kyiv Sikorsky Airport in 2019 served 2.618 million passengers, which is 6.9 percent less than in January-December 2018, according to the airport’s website.
The number of passengers served on international flights in 2019 amounted to 2.559 million, on domestic flights some 58,800 passengers.
The number of flights in 2019 amounted to 27,697 for arrival and departure, which is 8.4 percent less than in the same period in 2018, of which 23,367 international flights and 4,330 domestic flights.
The most popular international destinations in 2019 were Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), Vienna (Austria), Rome (Italy), Berlin (Germany), Frankfurt am Main (Germany), domestic were Odesa, Zaporizhia, and Lviv.
In December 2019, the airport served 203,900 passengers, which is 0.8 percent less than in December 2018. Of these, 201,500 on international flights and 2,400 passengers on domestic flights.
The number of flights in December 2019 amounted to 2,132 for arrival and departure, which is 6.9 percent less than in the same period in 2018, of which 1,835 international flights, and 297 domestic flights.
The most popular international destinations in December 2019 were Minsk (Belarus), Warsaw (Poland), Vienna (Austria), Berlin (Germany), Rome (Italy), Budapest (Hungary), Tallinn (Estonia), domestic were Zaporizhia, Lviv, and Odesa.
Kyiv International Airport is located in the business center of the capital, 7 km from the city center. By the number of flights and passenger traffic, it ranks second in Ukraine.
