Kyiv police will respond to violations of restrictive measures introduced in Kyiv due to the spread of coronavirus in the world, the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Kyiv Andriy Kryshchenko has said.

“The Kyiv police, together with authorities, will respond to violations of restrictive measures introduced by shopping and entertainment centers, cinemas,” Kryshchenko told Interfax-Ukraine on March 11.

According to him, the matter concerns withdrawal of the permits of such institutions, administrative liability.

“First of all, our functions are preventative, explanatory work,” the head of the central office reported.

Kryshchenko also added that no additional tasks in the context of the introduced restrictive measures have yet been assigned to the Kyiv police.
